Speaker 1:

Welcome to Endorphasmic, where we talk about all things endorphasm. I am your hostess, erica Porter. Finding your truth. Finding your truth is a profound and transformative journey that requires self-reflection, it requires introspection, it involves discovering and embracing who you truly are, at your core, and living in alignment with that authenticity. This is obviously sometimes easier said than done. This journey necessitates listening to yourself, being aware of your truth and taking action based on that truth. And ultimately, finding your truth means living a life that is authentic to who you are. It involves breaking free from societal expectations and embracing your unique gifts and potential, and sometimes that requires letting go of relationships that no longer serve your growth and surrounding yourself with people who accept and support your truth. And I think, in order to find your truth, you need to make sense of your story, and your story is a powerful tool for self-discovery, making you unique, potent and strong. And ignoring your story can really lead to a sense of being lost or disconnected. So reflect on your life experiences, both the positive and negative, and ask yourself what have I learned about myself through these experiences? How do maybe my false beliefs manifest in my life, and what thought or thoughts sometimes and behavior patterns do I need to break, and I think by exploring and accepting and understanding your story, you really gain clarity about your purpose and the path the universe has in store for you, and part of that is really making your ego. The ego is a powerful thing, and I think that discovering your truth requires letting go of the need for external validation. I think many of us are so focused on how we want to be perceived that we lose touch with our true selves. I think if we can reflect on how much we actually care about others' opinions and how it affects our decisions, it allows us to really find and determine what that story is, and I think that it's important to start from how you want to be remembered rather than how you want to be perceived. I think you know I think in probably several different podcasts in the past, I've talked about writing your obituary, and I mean that in the most positive way Writing how you want to be remembered.

Speaker 1:

I think that it's important to embrace your authenticity and to break free from societal expectations and to live a life true to yourself, to yourself, and I think that the exercise of writing down how you want to be remembered is incredibly powerful. I think that we have to listen to our truth. Listening to our truth means being aware of like really aware of what that truth is and standing by it and be courageous enough to live out what is honest to you, even if it's uncomfortable or challenging. And I think the more that you practice living your truth, the easier it becomes. And by listening to your truth you transform your own life and obviously you have the potential to positively impact other people. I think authenticity and a genuine nature to people, people gravitate towards that and I think your truth is a powerful force that can inspire, empower those around you.

Speaker 1:

And I think that, obviously, finding your truth is a personal journey. It's very different for everyone and that takes time. It takes self-reflection, you have to be patient with yourself and you have to embrace the process and I think that everybody's truth is waiting to be discovered. And by living authentically you unlock your full potential and you make a positive impact on the world. You embrace the journey of finding it and you let the world kind of experience it with you and then experience the true you.

Speaker 1:

And that is, oh man, it's freeing and it's liberating and it's a thing of beauty. So hopefully we can work towards finding our authentic self and living in alignment with that person and realizing that when there are moments and people that we don't agree with, that, when we are secure in who we are and what our truth is, it's just noise, typically, and it shouldn't bother us, even when it's opinions that are so differing from from our own. So I hope that most of you are living your truth and that you are authentic and and that you're inspiring people. I know that every day, I'm inspired by the people that I'm surrounded by, and for that I'm incredibly grateful. So, with that, love, health and happiness and always much respect.
