It is a much less obvious truth in modern society, but no less relevant. The endorphasm is the moment during movement you feel anything is possible. Clarity. Welcome to Endorphasmic, where we talk about all things Endorphasm. I am your hostess, Erica Porter. Welcome back to the Endorphasmic podcast, the place where we embrace the feeling, push past limits and connect with ourselves on a deeper level with ourselves on a deeper level. I'm Erica Porter and I am so grateful you're here today. Whether it's cold, hot, snowing or raining, where you are, I hope you're finding the joy in this day and moving your body, because movement isn't just about fitness. It's about connection, energy and gratitude. And today I have some exciting news to share with you Some reflections on overcoming adversity and a little insight into where the Endorphasm brand is headed next.
Speaker 1:So let's dive in Finding joy in every day. I always say that life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain, and I truly believe that. Wherever you are, however you feel, today I want to remind you to take a moment for yourself, to move your body, to take a deep breath and appreciate what's in front of you, and I feel that gratitude shifts everything. It changes how we see our struggles, how we process challenges and how we embrace joy, and sometimes it's the simplest things a moment of fresh air, a great workout, a conversation that sparks inspiration. So today I challenge you to find one thing to be grateful for. Say it out loud. I believe in saying it out loud because that energy fuels everything that we do. So a huge announcement Our book.
Speaker 1:Let's talk about something I've kind of been keeping under wraps for a while, but I'm thrilled to announce that Carlo and I are collaborating on a nonfiction book. This book is something truly special. It is our stories interwoven about love, adversity, inspiration and the fire that fuels us. And Carlo is an incredible writer and, for me, I'm much more of a face-to-face communicator. So, stepping into the world of writing. Obviously I wrote Eat that Monkey. Now is the Time to Change my Life, but very different, not not a uh, it wasn't me being vulnerable in in my writing, it was just very factual information that I was writing. So, very different. So stepping out of my comfort zone, which I think is something important to do. But wow, I feel like it's been worth it and I think it's going to be worth it.
Speaker 1:We've spent the better part of probably a year crafting our own short chapters about life lessons, love, each other, the endorphasm, our cancer journey, our cancer journey. Every word, every story, every experience woven together to create something that I believe speaks to anyone looking for motivation, resilience and connection to self. So, whether you're a fitness enthusiast, someone seeking inspiration or just looking to feel more connected to your own journey, I believe that this book will be for you, and the best part is well, the best part is writing it together and reading each of our own perspectives on a lot of the journey that we've been on together, as we've been together for almost 30 years. But we'll be pitching it to agents in the coming months. I think it's going to be nerve wracking but exciting, and I truly cannot wait to see how the world receives our words, and I think that it's an honor to share our stories, and I'm so proud of what we've created so far.
Speaker 1:We still have some flushing out of things. Carlo's looking at me now as he walks by, like what are you talking about? But I also want to talk about expanding the Endorphasm lifestyle. But wait, that's not all. Endorphasm is evolving, just as people need to constantly be evolving. The Endorphasm brand is also evolving, and we've been hard at work behind the scenes on something that takes this movement beyond just workouts and a mindset. It is a full on lifestyle, and we're exploring a potential endorphasm retail project, One that I feel embodies everything that this brand represents, One that I feel embodies everything that this brand represents strength, movement, energy and embracing the endorphism experience in all aspects of life, but, of course, keeping true to kind of that edgy um endorphism I mean, it's a sexy word.
Speaker 1:We understand what it means. Some people don't want to say it, but, as you know, asthma is the root of anything intense. We are all here as the result of some kind of asthma, so don't be shy about it. And we know what an endorphin is, An endorphin rush in the most asthmic way possible. Imagine walking into a space, feeling that energy, being surrounded by a community that lives and breathes this fire within them. That's what we're working on. It's all about connection through movement, through community and through the way we live every single day.
